Reverse osmosis flocculants PO-300 are high molecular weight flocculants made of water-soluble high molecular weight polymers and inorganic salts that have undergone precise treatment. They are suited for a wide range of water quality and are not impacted by low water temperatures. They are also easily soluble in water, do not form gels, and have strong hydrolytic stability. Reverse osmosis membrane fouling is significantly decreased when they assist multimedia filters in better removing organic colloids, inorganic particles, and organic solutes. They generate big and compact flocs, have quick settling speeds, produce minimum sludge, are non-toxic, have good safety, and substantially increase the operational efficiency of reverse osmosis systems.

Applications of Reverse Osmosis Flocculants

  1. Dosage point: It is preferable to add PO-300 before the sand filter for optimal efficacy.
  2. Dosage: The influent turbidity, suspended particles, and colloidal content should all be taken into account when determining the flocculant dosage. Following treatment, a significant quantity of sludge can be decreased, the removal rate is often around 80%, the residual turbidity (NTU) is typically about 0.067, and the SDI value (pollution index) can be less than 3. It is advised to take 2–10 ppm. To find the dose and dosage depending on your unique system conditions, please speak with our technical engineer. Certain injection sites and supplies are required in some systems.
  3. Dilution: It is advised to make an aqueous solution with a concentration of 10% to 20% before using. The ideal preparation water is neutral water free of salt (the dissolving tank's stirring speed shouldn't be too high). They are commonly utilized in a variety of wastewater treatment procedures and can be used in the process of purifying drinking water.

Characteristics of Reverse Osmosis Flocculants
  1. Produces flocs quickly, coagulates quickly, coagulates densely and solidly, and has strong settling ability.
  2. Water soluble, does not gel, and has strong hydrolytic stability.
  3. It is non-toxic, innocuous, eco-friendly, and doesn't alter the pH or increase salinity in water.
  4. Broad range of pH adaptation to water.
