Also referred to as 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or NMP, is N-methylpyrrolidone. NMP organic solvent with strong polarity and its applications. Oily, translucent, colorless liquid with a faint amine smell. It dissolves in water, castor oil, aromatic hydrocarbons, and alcoho halogenated hydrocarbons. Chemical volatilization with water vapor, low volatility, and thermal stability. It is light-sensitive and possesses hygroscopic properties.

Utilization and Preservation
Normal Operation: Steer clear of heat sources and open flames, and wear personal protective equipment as directed. It is important to keep enough airflow while using this product. Steer clear of skin, eyes, and clothing contact. Avoid eating, drinking, and smoking in the workspace.
After handling this product, properly wash.
Keepsake Suggestions:
Store this product away from heat sources, incompatible materials, and dry, well-ventilated areas.'The container should remain closed and upright thanks to this device. Preventing physical harm to the container is advised. Never use the container again. Containers that are empty could still have product or fumes in them. Empty, unwashed containers need to have a warning label on them.

NMP Applications 
1. Carbon nanotube and lithium-ion battery conductive pastes.
2. Butadiene, isoprene, and aromatic hydrocarbons are extracted and concentrated using acetylene.
3. Refining lubricating oil.
4. Polymer solvents for aramid fibers and insoluble technical plastics, such as poly(p-phenylene sulfide) and polyimide.
5. Premium pigment, ink, and paint.
6. Cleaning agent: paint, rust, deoiling, degreasing, polishing, etc.
7. Desalination membrane fluid and artificial kidney function membrane fluid.
8. The industries of pesticides, medicines, and polymers.
