Superior resistance to abrasion
The SAT and CAT series of ANDRITZ vertical submerged pumps are made to withstand extremely difficult operating environments, making them ideal for even the most difficult conveyance applications. They move waste water, pulp suspensions, and both fresh and white water as sump pumps. The vertical submerged pump's free-flow design makes it ideal for moving sludge with big particles and abrasive media. Every type of pump meets strict requirements for lifespan, economy, ease of maintenance, and efficiency.
SAT/CAT series ANDRITZ vertical submerged pump
Enhancements to our well-established pump technology include ANDRITZ vertical submerged pumps. Coarse media conveyance necessitates certain design and material choices. For these applications, ANDRITZ has specifically developed the vertical free-flow pump from the SAT and CAT series.Particle sizes as small as 140 mm are conveyed by ANDRITZ vertical free-flow pumps. The pump works well in highly harsh environments, including wood chips, municipal waste water, slurries with big particles and long fibers, pulp with consistencies up to 6%, and severely abrasive and caustic media. An incredibly wide open cross section and open channel in the spiral casing define the SAT and CAT pump series. Suction pipe lengths can be adjusted to accommodate varying sump depths. Please go through our pamphlets in the sidebar or get in touch with us directly for additional details about our vertical submerged pumps, SAT and CAT series.
