Axial Flow Pump Principal sectors and applications
High-pressure pumps of the Sulzer Ensival Moret model AH are intended for use in polyolefin loop reactors. All across the world, they are widely installed in loop reactors for polyethylene and polypropylene.

Axial Flow Pump Characteristics and advantages:

  1. Design principles for API 610
  2. Flanged housing with a weld neck design option
  3. Pivot shoe thrust bearings and oil-lubricated antifriction bearings for smaller pumps
  4. bigger pumps with an integrated chiller
  5. A high-efficiency, two-vane propeller with an additional heavy-duty shaft supporting it
  6. Accurate clearances and tolerances for dependable operation
  7. Elbow passageways and propellers hand-polished
  8. The conventional API610 seal chamber, which has larger dimensions for certain sealing systems
  9. API32+52 or 32+52+53 seal support systems for dual or triple seals
  10. Direct mounting on reactor loop pipework is a possibility, or a baseplate with a spring mount.
  11. The API 610 Table 5 nozzle load capacity is exceeded.
  12. API610 components combined with extra special elements to meet process requirements
