The project consists of:
A 35 thousand m3/day treatment plant, two tunnel culverts for the discharge lines, a tunnel culvert beneath the West Nubaria Drain, a double tunnel culvert beneath the Alexandria-Matrouh Road, and discharge lines with diameters of 1200 mm, 800 mm, and 500 mm that run from the northern treatment station to the main lifting station and sub-lifting station on the seaside.
In addition to drying and lowering the water level to a depth of 8 meters below the ground surface, the tunnels were implemented using the most recent, sophisticated, and specialized techniques. Their depths exceed over 13 meters below the earth surface.
