DBNPA Applications:
Paper mills, pulp, and circulating cooling water systems all use it as a slime control agent. It can also be used to stop the growth and reproduction of bacteria and algae in paper, industrial circulating cooling water, metal processing lubricants, pulp, wood, paint, and plywood.

DBNPA Characteristics:

DBNPA is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum biocide that works very well against both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including slime-forming, sulfate-reducing, and acid-producing bacteria (APB), even at low doses.
DBNPA's capacity to suppress enzyme activity and cell respiration, which leads to cell death, accounts for its biocidal action.
Because DBNPA breaks down quickly into carbon dioxide, ammonia, and bromide ions—all of which are regarded as environmentally benign—it has an exceptional environmental profile.
