Aluminum sulfate (CAS No. 11143-01-3) is an inorganic material that has a molecular weight of 342.15, a chemical formula of Al2(SO4)3, and a white, crystalline powder or flaky consistency.
Within the paper industry, it finds application as a precipitation agent for rubber products such as rosin gum and wax emulsion, as well as additional uses such as flocculant in water treatment, retention agent for foam fire extinguishers, raw material for alum and aluminium white production, and raw material for petroleum.
First Aid: 
(1) If there is skin contact, remove any contaminated clothing and give yourself a quick shower.
 (2) Eye contact: Open your eyes and give them a quick wash with warm water or regular salt. Obtain medical assistance. 
(3) Inhalation: Get outside and take in some fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing becomes difficult. Obtain medical assistance. 
(4) Ingestion: Consume enough hot water to cause emesis. Obtain medical assistance. 
(5) Immediate action: block off and isolate the contaminated area that leaked and limit access. It is advised that emergency workers use protective clothes and dust masks, or full-face masks. Gather with a sanitized shovel, then transfer to a dry, clean, covered container and store in a secure location. If there is a significant leak, gather the material for recycling or move it to a trash disposal facility.

Applications of Aluminium Sulphate
1. In the paper industry, used as paper sizing. 
2. Applied to wastewater and water supplies as a coagulant.
 3. It can be used as a filler, precipitating agent, colour-fixing agent, and purifying agent for murky water utilized as an astringent raw ingredient in cosmetics for antiperspirants
4. It is utilized as a foam fire extinguishing agent in the fire safety sector along with baking soda and a foaming agent.
5. Wood preservatives, tanning agents, oil decolorizing agents, analytical reagents, and mordants.
6. Equilibrium
7. It is a raw resource that can be used.
8. May be applied as a primer.
9. It works well as an animal glue cross-linking agent.
