Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer chemical with CAS number 9003-05-8. It may interact and create hydrogen bonds with a wide range of substances by adsorption because to its diverse range of active groups. It is primarily used to flocculate negatively charged colloids, which are useful in the food, building, metallurgy, dyeing, papermaking, coal powder, oil field, fermentation, and aquatic product processing industries. These colloids also have the ability to remove turbidity and decolorize materials.
