STORAGE&HANDLING

MAJOR APPLICATIONS OF FOOD-GRADE SOIUM METABISULPHITE:
1. food industry as an additive preservative antioxidant and antimicrobic for fruits (dries glazed and candled), vegetables(onionspotatoesetc.)juices(citrus and grapes), and fish(shrimps and prawns).
2. silage treatment as anti fermentative
3. desalting plants with reverse osmosis or drinking water treatment(for removing excess chlorine)
4. Starch and sweeteners Production as bacteriostatic

MAIOR APPLICATIONS OF TECH-GRADE SODIUM METABISULPHITE:
1. Wastewater treatment to remove excess Chlorine, as chrome reducer(tanneries and chrome plants), for declaration treatment(gold mining), and for decreasing metal contaminants(mainly copper)
2. Chemical synthesis in the production of sodium hydrosulfite, sulphonates, cleaning detergents, resins, and Purification of Aldehydes and ketonespesticidesherbicides
3. Pulp and Paper for delignification and Textile as Beaching Agent and for removing the excess chlorine and peroxides
4. Tanneries as an Auxiliary in Decalcification &Bleaching Process
5. Starch Production as a bleaching agent &bactericidal
6. Mining Industry as a Floating agent, cyanide detoxification, or reducing agent in metal refining(copper recovery)
