This timeline illustrates Carbonera's development from a research concept to a preeminent sustainable technology corporation.
2019: 
At Damanhour University's Central Laboratory for Water and Environmental Technology, Dr. Maha earned her master's degree in inorganic chemistry for her studies on the safe recycling of waste to create eco-friendly nanopolymers that were effectively tested in water treatment.
2022: 
Under the direction of Utah State University in the United States and in collaboration with the Center of Excellence for Water and Agriculture at the American University in Cairo, I took part in a workshop with a small group of Egyptian university professors to create curricula in accordance with sustainability and Egypt's Vision 2030.
2023:
By the middle of 2024, Dr. Maha had earned his certification as a sustainable development trainer after enrolling in the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development's professional level "Be an Ambassador" program, which is overseen by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
Her involvement in the WEF Nexus School workshop at the American University in Cairo gave rise to the research proposal to create carbon nanoparticles from agricultural waste as part of creative and sustainable solutions.
April 2024: 
The first carbon nanomaterial prototypes are finished, and successful industrial testing is conducted.
July 2024: 
Accompanying a multidisciplinary group with specialists in marketing, finance, and research and development.
November 2024: 
The business is formally registered as a limited liability corporation for the production of advanced carbonaceous materials under the name Carbonera. Obtaining the Award for Sustainability Innovation.
2025: 
Starting partnerships with universities and research centers to create new materials and broaden their applications.
