In a diaphragm metering pump, volume within the head increases or decreases as the diaphragm attached to the tip of the pump rod reciprocates, while negative and positive pressures within the pump head alternately provide suction and discharge.
ARK metering pumps are a market leader in the environmental equipment industry. Quality assurance, fair pricing, and attentive sales service.  The product comes in two color variants (blue-violet and light yellow) and many versions.
Diaphragm metering pump design
ARK diaphragm metering pumps were designed particularly for corporate users. It is a cutting-edge metering pump line with the capability of adjusting liquid flow while pumping. This feature simplifies pumping process management and provides an amazing advantage of high ejector pressures. As a result, it has several unique applications when compared to other metering pumps. The essential operating idea is not difficult to understand. They are distinguished from traditional pumps by their capacity to quantify liquid flow.
Structure of a metering pump
The diaphragm pump is made up of four pieces and has a fairly simple structure.

  1. Pump port or liquid conduit connection port. The device has two tubes that can move in different directions and are used to intake and exhale fluids.Diaphragm pump ports are extremely simple to use and install. Pump ports are classified into two types: double pump ports and single pump ports.
  2. Pump Chamber: A pump chamber or pump body made up of two chambers for storing liquid.
  3. It is resistant to rust and corrosion since it is the most exposed to fluids.
  4. Pump ball valve and diaphragm. A diaphragm pump is a device that separates liquid from air by using two membranes. They take turns pressingurizing the air chamber and pushing and pulling the material to be pumped. Ball valves are also used to control the flow of liquid according to specific cycles.
  5. Air valves with diaphragms are used to distribute compressed air to both sides of the air chamber. This causes the pump diaphragm to contract. It is particularly self-lubricating when in use.

Advantages of Diaphragm Metering Pump
  1. The most noticeable benefit is its small size. This makes it simple to use, move, install, and manage.
  2. High-quality materials are used to construct ARK diaphragm metering pumps. It is long-lasting and resistant to corrosive liquids. The membrane filter was made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), while the other materials were ABS, STS304 stainless steel, and ceramic.
  3. Meets all application and pumping needs for various types of liquids. Acids, alkalis, slurries, solvents, poisonous compounds, polymers, detergents, dyes, catalysts, cosmetic chemicals, foods, pharmaceuticals, paints, inks, adhesives, gasoline, pulp, paper, thick pastes, and so on are some examples. As a result, it is employed for a variety of purposes in a wide range of manufacturing industries.
  4. It is possible to rotate with no load (in an idle state). Even when there is inadequate water, the metering pump can function normally. There is no need to be concerned about engine or internal part damage for an extended period of time.
