An activated carbon filter works by passing through a bed of carbon. The activated carbon particles that comprise the carbon bed have numerous micropores, a large specific surface area, and a high physical adsorption capacity. Water travels through the carbon bed, and activated carbon successfully absorbed the organic contaminants in the water. Furthermore, some oxygen-containing tube energy groups exist on the non-crystalline region of the activated carbon surface, allowing organic contaminants in the water passing through the carbon bed to be successfully adsorbed. An activated carbon filter is a prominent type of water treatment equipment. 
As a pre-treatment for the water treatment desalination system, it may effectively extend the life of the succeeding equipment, enhance effluent quality, and prevent pollution, particularly the subsequent reverse osmosis membrane, ion exchange resin, and so on. Free residual oxygen causes sickness and pollution. Activated carbon filters are primarily used to remove organic matter, odor, color, heavy metal ions, and residual chlorine (CL2) from water. Pretreatment for reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, and ion exchangers. Activated carbon devices provide excellent protection for these electronics.
