The LBFK series low-voltage compound switch is made up of a parallel connection between an SCR and a magnetic latching relay. It uses an internal single chip for control and allows the SCR to perform zero-passing switching, which is the act of turning on when the voltage reaches zero and turning off when the current reaches zero. The SCR's conducting time is very short (it doesn't produce heat), and after that, the magnetic latching relay is connected to begin operating. As a result, it has the benefit of an SCR switch, which prevents inrush current in the event that zero passes, as well as the benefit of maintaining power while the AC contractor operates. Defects such as heating up while the SCR is operating and sparking while the contactor switches are avoided in this scenario. It is a quite perfect switch, in a way. In particular, the magnetic latching relay's mechanical service life of millions of times and electrical apparatus service life that is longer than the design service life may ensure long-term operation because there is no inrush current or spark when the relay is turned on or off.
