Higher-quality, more reasonably priced demineralise water is constantly in demand by the industry. The dissolved contaminants, such as various mineral salts and compounds of Ca, Mg, Na, K, and Fe carrying positive ions and So4, Cl, Co3, Hco3, and Sio2, etc. carrying negative ions, as well as organic and inorganic impurities, make naturally occurring water scarcely suitable for industrial demands. Natural water sources cannot meet the better quality (dissolved salt-free) water requirements of industry for specific process formulations and the use of the newest, most expensive equipment.
Principle of Demineralise Mix Bed:
Demineralization of Aquila The most recent coast-effective ion exchange method of countercurrent regeneration is used in the design of plants. The units are made up of two internal, series-connected, corrosion-free pressure vessels. An anion-absorbing exchanger is charged in the second column, while a cation-absorbing exchanger is present in the first. Water passes through an anion exchanger's bed after passing through a cation exchanger's bed. As a result, the systems eliminate dissolved salts from water to a certain extent.
Cation and anion regeneration must be performed following the utilization of the systems' whole exchange capability. An alkali solution is used to rejuvenate the anion exchange resin, whereas an acid is used to revive the cation exchanger. AQUILA demineralizers include a set of regeneration equipment, hydraulic ejectors, acid and alkali tanks, a conductivity meter to check the quality of the treated water, an acid/alkali-proof pressure vessel with internal fittings, and an initial charge of a cation and anion exchanger. These demineralizers provide the useful range of capacities and flow rates required to meet the needs of several applications.
