Characteristics of the 2-WIRE TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER

A 2-wire multi-point temperature transmitter, the THERMOPOINT TM is made by Nivelco and can be used to measure the temperature of hazardous and ordinary liquids as well as powdered, granulated, or free-flowing solids.
For application in a variety of industries, including the food, feed, and grain sectors, the unit is perfect.
It can measure temperatures between -40°C and +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C for liquids and between -10°C and +85°C with an accuracy of ±2°C for solids.
The unit uses a HART interface and can sustain tensile strains of up to 35 kN.
