Tag Dipper The multi-purpose tagline is designed for hydrogeologists who need tape to attach a dipper to, in order to perform water quality sampling. It can also be used by good drillers when performing well installation or well maintenance.
The Economic Tag Dipper is a multi-purpose unit designed for use when installing or monitoring wells. The 316-degree weighted and removable drop marker that comes with the dipper can be used to measure the bottom of a well or depth to the top of a bentonite stratum or sand backfill. The falls can also be used to measure the top of the water level acoustically (without a visual or audible sensor). The tag dipper also comes complete with (3x) 1.5" x 12" biodegradable markers.

  • Polyethylene tape 3/4″ stainless steel (316 grade) with removable weight
  •  Stainless steel spring clip - for attaching the included weight / drop weight or other attachments (cutters/data loggers / dipper-See H2GO / etc.)
  •  Comfortable vinyl handle
  • (3x) 1.5" x 12" biodegradable
  • Backpack tote bag with adjustable straps, laptop, and notebook bags

  1. Our basic and affordable water-depth instrument
  2. Acoustically measure water depth. MANUAL MONITORING - Using a 3/4" stainless steel weight (Grade 316) with a removable stopper
  3. Attach the guarantee for groundwater sampling
  4. Data loggers  are attached to a stainless steel clip to measure water levels and temperature for short-term analysis
  5. Better than similar coaxial cable water level meters (+ increased clarity)
  6. Modular design makes repairs inexpensive and easy
