The VACOMASS® air flow meters use the thermal mass flow principle to directly measure the gas mass flow or standard volume flow, regardless of medium pressure or temperature, under DIN 1343 standard circumstances. The VACOMASS® Flow Meters are designed to measure the flow rate of air aeration in wastewater treatment plants up to 220°C.

The flow meters are available in the following types:
VACOMASS® flow meter SS:
Electronics is in a compact, pressure-resistant stainless-steel housing (material 1.4571) with a separate terminal compartment. Optionally an integrated display is available.
VACOMASS® flow meter AL:
The electronics are placed in standard aluminum housing. Optionally an integrated display is available.
VACOMASS® flow meter AL DIN:
The electronics are placed in a compact aluminum housing without display.
VACOMASS® flow meter AL 100:
The electronics are placed in special aluminum housing with an optional display. The instrument has an analogue input for reading in the position feedback of the control valve.
VACOMASS® flow meter multi:
In big pipelines, it can make sense to place several sensors individually in different insertion depths. A weighted average over different signals from several sensors in the case of irregular flow profile can be calculated to be able to measure the air volume correctly. All sensor types (SS, AL or AL DIN) can be used.
VACOMASS® OEIN-S:
Hot tapping unit with manually operated ball valve with flexible insertion depth
VACOMASS® OEIN-F:
Hot tapping unit with manually operated ball valve and fixed insertion depth and fixed sensor orientation
 

Features of VACOMASS® Flow Meters:
 1) A thermal dispersion air mass flow meter.
 2) Direct measurements of typical volumetric or gas mass flow in dry gases under standard conditions.
 3) Flow measurements are unaffected by pressure or temperature fluctuations.
 4) Stainless-steel sensor without any moving parts
 5) Compact and rugged design for high reliability, maintenance-free, and corrosion-resistant
 6) Simple installation and service
 7) Dynamic reactions are suitable for monitoring, totalization, and control.
 8) A 10-digit LED display indicates the real flow rate or total flow.
