  1. A dissolved oxygen sensor is a detection device used to measure the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water. 
  2. Dissolved oxygen sensors are widely used in aquaculture, such as fish ponds, sewage treatment industry, hydrological monitoring, environmental monitoring, and in education and scientific research. 
  3. For aquaculture, if the DO level falls too low, the fish will suffocate as a consequence.
