A side-stream filter for cooling circuits, the SF sand filter with Siata primary control valve and SFE controller is used to clear dirt particles from open cooling systems. This automatic single filter unit uses raw water for time-controlled backwashing. The unit and feed pump are installed on a plastic Euro pallet and are prepared for connection. It is possible to perform differential pressure controlled backwashing and optional backwashing with filtrate.

                                                            The filters are designed for a pressureless filtrate discharge. If filtration is performed in a closed circuit, a backflow preventer must be provided on site in the filtrate line. Particle-free tap water or control air with a pressure of 3 - 4 bar must be used as the control medium
