RefleX UV is a patented, highly effective UV disinfection technology that offers a 75% smaller footprint and allows for considerable CAPEX and OPEX savings when compared to traditional UV systems. Nearly 300 industrial water installations use the technology for disinfection and TOC annihilation in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and electronics applications. It is certified for disinfecting potable water in the United States. RefleX UV has been verified to meet globally accepted UV disinfection water standards, such as the US EPA and US NSF, for drinking water and for pools and spas.
RefleX UV significantly outperforms traditional stainless steel by using unique UV coatings to produce 99.8% active reflection of functional UV wavelengths in the water reactor. This is due to stainless steel's weak ability to reflect UV rays, which are what kill TOC and inactivate organisms. Compared to traditional UV systems with polished stainless steel reflectors, this exponential increase in UV allows for a substantially higher UV dose by a ratio of 10 to 50.
