Wastewater treatment is the main use for the single-stage centrifugal blower known as the ultra-high-speed turbo blower. During the water treatment process, it rapidly introduces air into the water to aerate it and break down organic debris and microorganisms.
A variable frequency drive (VFD) regulates the speed of a high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), which drives the blower directly. The revolving shaft is supported by active air bearings, and the impeller is directly attached to the motor. It operates without a gearbox, gas pedal, or linkage.
