Principles of Work
Sewage flows evenly into the pool through the bottom distribution hole of the surrounding distribution tank after entering through the central drive sludge scraper, which uses a vertical frame and central transmission. The sludge is deposited at the bottom of the pool by its own weight, creating a separation of mud and water, while the water flows from the bottom to the center of the pool due to the action of the surrounding water baffle. The scraper arm, suction pipe, and small- and medium-sized frames are all rotated by the driving device.
Static water pressure causes the sludge to uniformly enter the suction port on the suction pipe before being released from the pool via the central discharge pipe and the discharge well's sleeve valve. The sleeve valve's lift can regulate the amount of sludge discharge. The supernatant overflows into the outlet channel through a triangular weir plate and is released, while the scum on the water's surface is skimmed to the pool's edge by the skimming device and then scraped into the slag bucket for discharge outside the pool by the scraper.

Suspended Center Drive Mud Scraper Applications
1. Treatment of Municipal Wastewater

For large-diameter tanks (Φ20–50m), stability is guaranteed by a central drive.
Designing a full bridge removes dead zones.
2. Plants of Drinking Water

Construction made of stainless steel satisfies requirements for potable water.
3. Chemical/Pulp & Paper Industrial Wastewater

Strong scraper blades can handle viscous sludge with 3–8% solids.
A variable frequency drive (VFD) modifies speed in response to variations in load.
4. Metallurgical and Mining Effluent

In abrasive slurries, wear-resistant alloy blades increase service life.
The efficiency of discharge is increased by an optional inclined sludge hopper.
