UNITIKA’s porous plate “UNIVEKS®” is a water-absorbing material made of polyester fiber. We apply our unique technique when processing the polyester, which is hydrophobic by nature, to give the material high levels of water absorbency, sheet hardness, and machinability in a balanced manner.

The high water-absorbing and diffusing performance prevents scale formation on the porous plate and stabilizes its dimension after absorbing water. Our UNIVEKS porous plate is used in various applications like vaporizing humidifiers, evaporation plates of drain water, and so on
