Carbon steel carriage bolts are divided into large round-head carriage bolts (corresponding to standards GB/T14 and DIN693) and small round-head carriage bolts (corresponding to standard GB/T12-85) according to the head size. A carriage bolt, a type of fastener consisting of two parts, a head and a screw (cylinder with external threads), needs to be matched with a nut to fasten and connect two parts through holes.
In the use of carbon steel carriage bolts, anti-corrosion treatment is a very important part, and different treatment methods can be adopted according to the degree of corrosion.
1. Oxidation, because black can hardly prevent rust, in the absence of oil, black will quickly rust. The torque-pre-tightening force consistency of the black square column template is poor. If improvement is needed, the grease can be applied to the threads and then screwed together during assembly.
2. Sherardizing, the sherardizing layer is a zinc powder solid metallurgical thermal diffusion layer. Good uniformity and uniform layers can be obtained in threads and blind holes, and the processing process is pollution-free and environmentally friendly.
