For automatic and continuous water softening in industrial applications, duplex softeners are utilized. It has a monodisperse quality exchanger resin, one brine tank, and one Clack main control valve per pressure tank. An integrated Modbus RTU interface is offered by the industrial controller ICI. Regeneration can be time- or quantity-controlled, and when combined with an online water hardness measurement, it can also be done in a quality-controlled manner.

                                                            The unit may only be used for softening feed water of drinking water quality or appropriately pre-treated well or surface water.
