In the event of a major loss of mains power or complete blackout, automatic mains failure (AMF) panels, also known as automatic transfer switch (ATS) panels, initiate a power transition to emergency standby generators. In the absence of AMF panels, generators must be run manually, which increases the risk of data loss, possible damage to electrical equipment, and severe interruption.
When the building's main power supply fails, the AMF board and ATS panels automatically transfer the building's load from the mains to the producing set while also monitoring the incoming AC mains supply. Following an appropriate cooling cycle, the ATS panel manages a return to the mains supply and turns off the generator.
Modern electronic control systems facilitate several tasks, such as full mains synchronization in situations requiring a no-break switchover. The system is fully autonomous thanks to LED indication lamps, which show the status of load switching and supply availability throughout.
The panel changeover device satisfies IEC/BSEN 60947-6-1 criteria and offers mechanical and electrical interlocking. Power supply is managed using these panels in a variety of businesses, including hospitals and processing facilities. We modified these panels (in both automatic and manual modes) per the clients' request to satisfy their unique needs.
