Decanter Centrifuge Applications
1. Treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater
Municipal dewatering of sludge

Dehydration of sewage treatment plant residual and biochemical sludge (lowering moisture content from 98% to 75%–80%).
To use fewer chemical agents, replace the belt filter press and the plate frame filter press.
Treatment of industrial wastewater

Food processing (wastewater from slaughter, dairy products, and starch).
Paper industry (white water recycling, pulp wastewater).
Chemical/pharmaceutical (separation of fermentation broth, high-concentration organic wastewater).
2. Industry of Petrochemicals and Energy
Treatment of oilfield drilling mud

Extract the liquid phase from drilling mud by separating the bentonite and rock fragments. Treatment of oil-containing sludge on offshore platforms (along with a hot washing procedure).
The Chemical and Refining Industries

Refinery dehydration of the "three sludges" (scum, oil sludge, and activated sludge) and chemical catalyst recovery (e.g., PTA mother liquor separation).

Processing of food
Starch industry: dehydration and washing of corn and potato starch.

Dehydration of pickling wastewater sludge from steel mills that contains iron and zinc, two heavy metals.
5. Additional developing fields
Fresh energy

Recycling lithium batteries involves removing the electrolyte's positive and negative electrode components.
Glycerol and crude oil are separated to create biodiesel.
