The full process of drying the sludge

Screw conveyor, disc dryer, de-duster, vapor condenser, and washing scrubber make up the entire sludge drying system. 70–80% of the moisture in screw press sludge is often found in the wet sludge. The screw conveyor continually feeds sludge to the disc drier, where it will be heated. The material's moisture vaporizes and is extracted by an air blower. Before entering the vapor condenser, the dryer's waste gas will be de-dusted. Most vapor is converted to condensate in the condenser. Before being released through the chimney, the vent gas will be cleaned in a chemical cleaning scrubber. Typically, the dried sludge has 20–30% moisture.
