COD Meter Operation processes:
1. Take 2ml pure water and 2ml tested solution to be added into different COD reagent tubes, screw down the lid, shake the solution in the reagent tube slowly, put the reagent tube into the reactor, and react for 20 minutes at 165℃。(Danger: the reagent tube contains concentrated sulfuric acid, please wear gloves when handling, if you accidentally touch the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.)
2. After the reaction, but the reagent tube on the test tube rack and cooled to below 80℃. (Warming: reactor and reagent tube temperature is high, be careful not to burn during operation.)
3. Shake the liquid in the reagent tube again.
4. Place the reagent tube on the test tube rack and cool down to room temperature. Don't shake the reagent tube at this time.
5. Press the “on / off” button to turn on the power, and the screen displays "idLE" that boot is complete, and the reactor is in standby mode.
6. Open the test lid, ensure the zero water tube surface is clean, put it into a test chamber, cover the lid, and press the "zero" button, the middle of the screen shows "0" said zero complete.
7. Open the lid, take out the zero water sample, put the tested water sample into it, and cover the lid.
8. Press the “read” button, and the result will be displayed on the screen(unit:mg/L).
9. After the measurement press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off the instrument.
