Installed in the soft water pipe following softening units, the limitent automatic hardness control device with controller ensures that the soft water is always monitored for residual hardness. The apparatus doesn't need any chemicals or water because the measuring mechanism is based on resin shrinking or expanding. Provided as a potential-free changeover contact, a hardness breakthrough is visually signaled.

                                                            An overpressure protection must be installed in the feed water line upstream of the hardness control unit. The spare sensor must be flushed with soft water before installation and soaked in soft water / permeate when stored.
