Its theory is put forward on the basis of the Shallow tank, which tells the settling efficiency of the sedimentation tank is only related to the surface area.
On LST the settling area is the total area of the inclined plates projected on a horizontal surface. This reduces the footprint of lamella settlers by about 90% as compared to conventional clarifiers and the efficiency of the sedimentation process is multiply increased.
LST1 is a conical bottom lamella clarifier, with a simple structure, and no power consumption.
For shipment, it can be disassembled as top and parts to fit into the container.

Features :
1. Maximized sedimentation area within a limited footprint.
2. High-rate clarifier for high SS water (grit, clay, lime & metal particles).
3. Circular sludge hopper with sludge scraper to reduce total transportation height.
4. Indoor or outdoor layout (environmental temperature should be over 0°C).
5. Apply to automatic & continuous operation.
6. Design life: Carbon steel material: > 10 years; Stainless steel material: > 20 years.
Advantage :
1. Higher efficiency, smaller footprint: inclined plates extended to 1.5m, separation efficiency improved (higher 1.5 ~ 2.0 times) compared with radial flow clarifier and vertical clarifier and save 80% of the area.
2. Excellent hydraulic conditions: no hydraulic corner and vortex, better precipitation performance.
3. Inclined plates Chokeless： plates are of angle 60 degrees, spacing between 80 ~ 100 mm, a back-washing device used.
4. Strong and durable: Inclined plates are breakless, and collapse. Adopt a 6mm hard PVC board or 8 mm high-quality PP board as a special separation plate, module embedded installation, high strength, easy disassembling, and maintenance.
5. Sludge discharge smoothly: no dead angle, sludge pump is recommended.
